May 14, 1981 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 16-81 SUBJECT : Weekly Reporting of Internal Revenue Collections from Major Collection Points TO : All Revenue Regional Directors, Chief, Collection Branches Revenue District Officers, District Collection Supervisors, and Others Concerned There is an urgent need for this Office to know on a weekly basis revenue collections from major collection points, particularly from Revenue Regions 3-A, 3-B, 4-A, 4-B, 4-C, 5, 6-A, 7 and 11-B, covering all cities and first class municipalities which constitutes about 90% of total internal revenue collections. To satisfy this need, Revenue Collectors/Revenue Cash Clerks are required to report every/Monday to their Revenue District Officers either by telegram or personal delivery their internal revenue collections during the previous week from Monday to Friday. aisa dc The collection report shall be prepared as follows: Collection Report: _______________ Week of ____________, 1981 1. Specific Tax P ___________ 2. License & Business Taxes P ___________ 3. Income Tax P ___________ 4. Other Taxes & Fees P ___________ Total P ========== Upon receipt of the weekly collection reports from their Revenue Collectors/Revenue Cash Clerks, the Revenue District Officers shall consolidate the same and transmit their district collection reports by telegram or by personal delivery to the Revenue Regional Directors every Tuesday. The Revenue Regional Directors are in turn required to transmit their weekly regional collection reports by telegram to the Revenue Service Chief (Collection) every Wednesday who shall submit the Weekly National Collection Report to the Commissioner not later than Friday. In case the day of reporting falls on a non-working holiday, the report shall be submitted on the following working day. The report covering the last week of the month shall include a summary of the monthly regional collections by major source and any decrease in the monthly collections over that of the immediately preceding year's corresponding month must be adequately explained in writing by the Revenue Regional Director. The cost of sending telegram shall be charged against the operating funds alloted to the regional offices. This Order shall take effect starting June, 1981. (SGD.) RUBEN B. ANCHETA Commissioner
