March 5, 1964 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 16-64 1. In view of our increased force of regular fieldmen, and in order to insure proper investigation and accurate reports, all temporary designation as fieldmen are hereby revoked. 2. However, if no fieldman is available for assignment to a province or other area, the Regional Director may recommend to the Commissioner of Internal Revenue the temporary designation of an employee to discharge the duties of a revenue officer subject to the conditions prescribed in Section 12 of the National Internal Revenue Code.
