Enjoining Full Support to the Scouting Movement

March 15, 1973 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 15-73 TO : All internal revenue officers and others concerned. For the information and guidance of all internal revenue officers and others concerned, there is quoted hereunder Memorandum of the office of the President of the Philippines, dated February 23, 1973, as follows: "MEMORANDUM ''For : All Heads of Departments, Bureaus and Other Agencies of the Government "In accordance with my earlier instructions to attend to the proper development of the youth, prepare them for greater civic and community duties and responsibilities, I enjoin all heads of departments, bureaus and other agencies of the government, including the local governments, to extend the fullest support to the scouting movement and its projects and all other similar groups with similar objectives. "The Boy Scouts of the Philippines is now engaged in promoting the various government programs, notably the food production and the green revolution program, conservation and reforestation program, the beautification, health and sanitation program and the campaign against drugs. "I direct all the government agencies concerned to coordinate with the BSP and extend all possible assistance to it in pursuing these endeavors. I enjoin more particularly the Department of National Defense, the Department of Education and Culture, the Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources (through the Bureau of Forestry and Reforestation Administration), the Social Welfare Department, the Department of Health and the Department of Local Government and Community Development to Extend this assistance.
