March 31, 1969 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 12-69 1. In accordance with the provisions of Executive Order No. 175 dated March 22, 1969 of His Excellency, the President of the Philippines, the Office hours for the period April 1 to June 15, 1969, both dates inclusive, shall be from 7:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. and 1:30 P.M. to 4:30 P.M. All offices of this Bureau will therefore observe this office hours starting April 1, 1969 except the revenue offices in the City of Baguio. 2. In view of the exigencies of the service, this Bureau shall adopt the half-day session commencing April 16, 1969. All fieldmen doing assessment and collection work, fieldmen of the Specific Tax Department, Cash Clerks and Collection Agents and those assigned in factories, drivers and all janitors shall render full day service from 7:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. and 1:30 P.M. to 4:30 P.M. every working day during the abovementioned period. Emergency and casual employees may be allowed to enjoy the half-day session privilege without reduction in pay. 3. In each department, division or unit in the national office and in each regional or revenue district office, there shall be left at least one-half of the force in the afternoon to attend to taxpayers who may transact business. This skeletal force shall observe office hours during the period from 7:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. and 1:30 P.M to 4:30 P.M. The names of those who will be in the skeletal force at certain dates should be submitted to the Chief, Personnel Division of this Bureau. 4. It shall be the duty of the Chiefs of Departments, divisions or units in the National Office, regional directors and district revenue officers to see to it that the work pertaining to their respective offices are kept up to date.
