BIR Improvement Program — Interim Reporting System

March 13, 1967 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 11-67 SUBJECT : BIR Improvement Program Interim Reporting System We have a large number of improvement programs already underway in the Bureau. There is now a need for a system to report progress and to keep all top management officials advised. cdt Attached is the list of projects underway as of January 1, 1967 and the names of the responsible reporting official. On the 25th day of every month, responsible reporting officials or in their absence, their designated assistants, shall submit a very brief status report of progress and problems and such other pertinent comments necessary to brief top officials (one copy-handwritten would be acceptable). This report will be submitted to the Chief, O & M Division. For easy delivery, reports may be left with the Assistant Revenue Operations Head (Management Planning), Room No. 107, Finance Building. The first report shall cover January 1 to February 28, 1967. While the report is in brief narrative form, (sample form attached) quantitative measurement should be used where possible. (Example Number of criminal tax fraud cases submitted to the Prosecution Division; cases submitted to the Fiscal's Office, etc.). The Chief, O & M Division will prepare a consolidated report of generally one paragraph for each program to be submitted to the undersigned not later than the fifth working day of the succeeding month. cdi MISAEL P.
