March 1, 1972 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 09-72 SUBJECT : To Designate a Receiving and Releasing Clerks in Every Unit of Office TO : All Revenue Operations Head, Revenue Directors, Division Chiefs In order to preclude misplacement and losses of dockets, official communications, papers and other documents and to pinpoint responsibility in the handling of the same, all heads of offices are hereby directed to designate regular clerks only to receive and release-the same and have them properly recorded in the books kept for such purpose. It is understood that the clerks so designated shall be the only person authorized in the office concerned to handle the same, one permanent and the other an alternate. cd The names of the clerks designated with their signatures and initials opposite their names should be submitted to the Revenue Operations Head (Adm. Svs.) Attn.: Chief, Records Division, if in the National Office and to the Revenue Regional Director, Attn.: Chief, Administrative Branch of the region concerned if in the Regional Office, for their reference and guidance.
