January 17, 1966 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 06-66 SUBJECT : Prohibiting Officials and Employees of the Bureau of Internal Revenue from Entering into Certain Kinds of Transaction with Real or Imaginary Relatives of the Commissioner of Internal Revenue TO : All Officials and Employees of the Bureau of Internal Revenue Officials and employees of the Bureau of Internal Revenue, particularly those holding positions of trust and responsibility, are hereby prohibited from dealing directly or indirectly with any of the relatives of the Commissioner of Internal Revenue or the relatives of Mrs. Rosalina G. Vera, whether by affinity or consanguinity, or whether real or imaginary, who, in representation of other parties, or in their behalf, and through the use of influence by virtue of such relationship, are following up matters pertaining to internal revenue, contracts where the Commissioner of Internal Revenue or any of its offices is a party, or the procurement or purchase of property, equipment, supplies and materials by the Bureau of Internal Revenue and its offices, appointment of personnel, recommendations for positions, or in any other matter requiring action or decision by the Commissioner of Internal Revenue. This Order shall be without prejudice to the enforcement of the provisions of Section 5 of Republic Act 3090, otherwise known as the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act, in proper cases. Any official or employee mentioned above violating this Order shall be dealt with accordingly. This Order shall take effect immediately. (SGD.) MISAEL P. VERA Commissioner of Internal Revenue
