February 8, 1963 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 06-63 The Management and Planning Department through the Training Division will conduct the 7th of a series of Management Supervision Seminars from March 4 to March 26, 1963. This seminar is intended to acquaint all ranking officials who exercise supervisory responsibilities, with the latest management techniques and methods in order to enable them to initiate improvements in their respective offices. The participants will be the Chiefs of Branches and Provincial Revenue Officers in the Regional Districts Nos. 3 and 4, the City Revenue Officer, the Chief, Manila Agent, the Chief, Manila Examiner and Chiefs and Assistant Chiefs of Division in the National Office as per attached list. cdtech Sessions will be held everyday from 2:00 to 4:00 P. M. at the BIR Training Room, 5th Floor, Finance Building, Manila. However, on the opening day, March 4, 1963, the period from 1:00 to 2:00 P. M. will be devoted to the opening exercises and the regular seminar will continue as scheduled, from 2:00 to 4:00 on the same day. Consisting of 14 two-hours sessions, the course will cover supervision techniques, work simplification, systematic study of organizational and administrative problems and such other areas as would enhance supervisor's participation in the management improvement programs of the Bureau. An adequate understanding of these specific concepts of management is expected to increase their capabilities for improving their respective sections or units through the application of sound supervisory and management practices. After the seminar, the participants are expected to assist in developing a continuing program of improvement activities in their respective organizational units. 100% attendance and punctuality in all sessions are required. The performance of every participant and his/her compliance with the course requirements will be correspondingly recorded in his respective files. Considering that this training is a requisite to the successful prosecution of the Management Improvement Program, the cooperation of everyone concerned in the training phase of the program is enjoined.
