Designation of Official Spokesperson

August 17, 2016 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 051-16 SUBJECT : Designation of Official Spokesperson TO : All Internal Revenue Officers, Employees and Others Concerned In addition to her official functions, ACIR Marissa O. Cabreros of the Legal Service is hereby designated as the official Spokesperson of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR). As Spokesperson, she shall be directly and primarily responsible in communicating to the public and to all stakeholders the significant challenges and developments in the Bureau of Internal Revenue in a clear, consistent, effective and timely manner. More particularly, she shall articulate for and in behalf of the Commissioner of Internal Revenue the relevant policies and programs, important revenue issuances and decisions of the Bureau in public forum and other events, including interviews and briefings on BIR issues and concerns in television programs and/or radio broadcasts/shows. All internal revenue officers and employees are enjoined to extend all assistance and support as may be necessary and proper for the performance of the functions of the Spokesperson. The Order supersedes or modifies accordingly any and all issuances inconsistent herewith. This Order shall take effect immediately. (SGD.) CAESAR R. DULAY Commissioner of Internal Revenue
