February 14, 1972 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 05-72 In line with the current campaign being conducted by the Bureau to further intensify its tax collection activities, and in order to prevent tax evasion by aliens who come in the country as temporary visitors or otherwise, all applications for tax clearance of these aliens should be referred to the Tax Account Division, who will in turn forward them to the Services and Miscellaneous (Audit) Division, for their proper disposition. aisa dc Beginning March 1, 1972, all other offices except the Tax Account Division, National Office, shall stop acting on this kind of application.
