February 3, 1971 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 03-71 SUBJECT : Reorganization of the Committee on Denaturing of Distilled Spirits. TO : All Internal Revenue Officers, Employees and Others concerned: In view of the promulgation of Revenue Administrative Order No. 5-69, restoring a decentralized set-up in the administration and enforcement of existing specific tax laws, and in conjunction with Revenue Memorandum Order No. 3-70, dated January 14, 1970, the Committee on Denaturing of Distilled Spirits is hereby organized as far as Revenue Regions Nos. 5, 6, 7 and 8 and the Municipalities of Apalit in Pampanga and San Pedro, Laguna are concerned, and shall be constituted by the following revenue officers: Chairman Revenue Operations Head (Specific Tax) or his duly authorized representative Member The Chief, Alcohol Tax Division or his duly authorized representative Member The Chief, Laboratory Center or his duly authorized representative. All request for denaturing of distilled spirits shall be addressed to the Commissioner of Internal Revenue, Attention: The Revenue Operations Head (Specific Tax), and should be received in the said Office at least five (5) days before the date of the proposed denaturing. All previous orders, memoranda portions thereof inconsistent herewith are hereby revoked. This Order shall take effect immediately. MISAEL P. VERA Commissioner of Internal Revenue
