April 20, 2016 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 015-16 SUBJECT : Amending Revenue Memorandum Order (RMO) No. 30-2001 Relative to the Provisions of Application for Bank Accreditation TO : All Internal Revenue Officials, Employees and Others Concerned I Objectives This Order is being issued to amend certain provisions of RMO No. 30-2001 to specify the new names of Offices responsible for Bank Accreditation in order to conform with the Unnumbered Memorandum of the Commissioner of Internal Revenue dated February 20, 2013, relative to the Use of New Office Names in the National Office under the Rationalization Plan. II Amendatory Provisions A. Section II. A of RMO No. 30-2001 is hereby amended to read as follows: "II GENERAL POLICIES AND GUIDELINES A. A Bank Accreditation Committee (BAC) composed of: the Assistant Commissioner (ACIR) Collection Service (CS) as Chairman; the HREAs, Legal Service (LS), Information Systems Development and Operations Service (ISDOS), Information Systems Project Management Service (ISPMS) ; Head, Revenue Data Center (RDC)-Luzon 2; Representatives from the Office of the Commissioner of Internal Revenue (OCIR); Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Internal Revenue-Operations Group (ODCIR-OG); as members, shall be created. Its functions shall be to evaluate application for accreditation, renewal of accreditation, disaccreditation, request for waiver of penalties of Banks and to make its recommendations relative thereto to the Commissioner of Internal Revenue (CIR)/Deputy Commissioner of Internal Revenue (DCIR)-Operations Group/Management Committee (MANCOM); B. A BAC Secretariat composed of the Chief, Collection Programs Division (CPD) as Head, the Assistant Chief of the Revenue Accounting Division (RAD), representatives from the ISPMS, LS, CPD, and RAD as members, shall be created. Its functions shall be to schedule BAC meetings, take and prepare minutes of the meetings, prepare notice of meetings, coordinate and liaise with AABs relative to the meetings, ensure the proper conduct of the meetings, take care of physical arrangement and provide technical and logistics support to BAC; xxx xxx xxx" III Repealing Clause All revenue issuances or portions thereof which are inconsistent thereof are hereby modified, repealed order are hereby repealed or amended accordingly.
