Celebration of the 21st Anniversary of the Development Policy Research Month

August 15, 2023 REVENUE MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 87-2023 TO : All Internal Revenue Officials, Employees and Others Concerned SUBJECT : Celebration of the 21st Anniversary of the Development Policy Research Month Per Malacaang Proclamation 247 dated September 2, 2002, declaring the month of September of every year as Development Policy Research Month (DPRM), to promote and draw nationwide awareness of the importance of policy research in the formulation of national development plans, programs and policies. AIDSTE The theme for this year's celebration is "Going Green and Digital for a More Sustainable, Inclusive, and Prosperous Future for All" or in Filipino language, "Maging Makakalikasan at Digital para sa Higit na Matatag, Inklusibo, at Masaganang Kinabukasan para sa Lahat." This year's theme highlights the importance of simultaneously pursuing digital transformation and green transition. This twin transition is essential for the Philippines to have a more sustainable, inclusive, and prosperous future. Going green and digital is the way to build back better and stronger after COVID-19 and achieve the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. All Regional and District Offices are enjoined to provide their own DPRM streamer to be displayed at their building faade throughout the month of September. Attached is the letter of the Philippine Institute of Development Studies (PIDS) which indicates the DPRM website for the details of this year's celebration, as well as the format of the DPRM streamer.
