December 1, 1999 REVENUE MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 80-99 SUBJECT : Lost Tax Credit Certificate No. 000437 dated December 9, 1994 TO : All Internal Revenue Officers, Employees and Others Concerned Notice is hereby given of the loss of TAX CREDIT CERTIFICATE NO. 000437 dated December 9, 1994, issued to STANDARD CHARTERED BANK (Phil. Branch), covering the amount of P4,577,455.00 as alleged overpaid income tax or excess tax credit as of December 31, 1986. The abovementioned TCC was reported as lost by LEONILA M. BULAON, Chief, Collection Programs Division, whose claim is corroborated by JOSE S. HO, Head of Compliance of Standard Chartered Bank in an affidavit dated November 18, 1999. Internal Revenue Officers, employees and others concerned are requested to promptly notify this Office in case the abovementioned TCC is found, taking the necessary steps in the meantime to prevent the improper disposition or use thereof.
