November 12, 1972 REVENUE MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 65-72 SUBJECT : Loss of Twenty-Five PNB Checks TO : All Internal Revenue Officers, Employees and Others Concerned Quoted hereunder are Department Circular No. 28-72, dated November 2, 1972, and the circular-letter of the Director of Census and Statistics, dated October 12, 1972, reporting the loss of twenty-five PNB checks: "DEPARTMENT CIRCULAR NO. 28-72 "TO : All Heads of Bureaus and Offices under the Department of Finance and Provincial and City Treasurers "SUBJECT : Loss of twenty-five PNB checks "Enclosed, for your information and guidance, is a copy of the circular-letter dated October 12, 1972 of the Director of Census and Statistics, reporting the loss of twenty-five (25) PNB checks drawn in favor of various payees while in transit when mailed to the Census branch office, Masbate, particular attention being invited to the penultimate paragraph thereof. "It is requested that the said circular-letter be given a wide publicity by posting copies thereof in conspicuous places in your respective jurisdiction." "(SGD.) "SUBJECT : LOSS OF PNB CHECKS "This Office is reporting the loss of twenty-five (25) PNB checks drawn in favor of various payees while in transit when mailed to the census branch office, Masbate under registered letter No. 70219 dated May 26, 1972. Mr. Hernando Dimatera, Census Officer in Masbate informed personally this Office that the twenty-five (25) PNB checks that were sent through him were never received nor reaches the respective payee.
