September 28, 1972 REVENUE MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 52-72 SUBJECT : Declaring the Period from December 3 to 9, 1972 as Government Employees' Week TO : All Officers, Employees and Others Concerned For the guidance of all concerned, there is quoted hereunder Proclamation No. 1076 of the Office of the President of the Philippines: "TANGGAPAN NG PANGULO NG PILIPINAS (OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES) PROCLAMATION NO. 1076 "DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM DECEMBER 3 TO 9, 1972 AS GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES' WEEK. "WHEREAS, there are legions of unsung heroes in the service of the government whose existence remain un-noticed; WHEREAS, the public must be made to realize the existence of these loyal and efficient state workers; "NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from December 3 to 9, 1972, as Government Employees' Week. I call upon all citizens to give a thought to the dedicated and persevering government employee in grateful appreciation for his services. The week should be devoted to maximizing service efficiency and the promotion of better relations between the public and the government employees.
