September 7, 1972 REVENUE MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 45-72 SUBJECT : Loss of 50,000 Pieces of BIR Strip Stamps for Cigarettes, under the P2.50 per M class (30's), valued at P0.075 each, Serial Nos. 386850001 to 386900000 TO : All Revenue Officers, Employees, and Others Concerned Notice is hereby given of the loss of BIR strip stamps for cigarettes as indicted below: Class & Serial Denomination Value Nos. Quantity P2.50/M (30's) P0.075 each 386850001- 386900000 50,000 Pieces Above strip stamps were lost on September 5, 1972, the date of purchase, while inside a parked vehicle belonging to the taxpayer-purchaser. The loss was reported to this Office and duly verified to be true and correct by an internal revenue officer. Internal revenue officers and others concerned are requested to promptly notify this Office in case any of the above-mentioned strip stamps is found, taking necessary steps to prevent the unlawful use thereof by any party other than the authorized purchaser. cdt MISAEL P.
