July 29, 1974 REVENUE MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 41-74 TO : All Internal Revenue Officers, Employees and others concerned SUBJECT : Loss of fifty thousand (50,000) pieces of B.I.R. strip stamps bearing Serial Numbers 0596300001 to 0596350000, inclusive Serial Numbers Quantity 0596300001-0596350000 fifty thousand (50,000) pieces The above-mentioned B.I.R. strip stamps were reported to the Commissioner of Internal Revenue by Insular-Yebana Tobacco Corporation, Malabon, Rizal, to have been lost on July 16, 1974 in the vicinity of Retiro and Sto. Domingo streets, Quezon City, when the box containing the said strip stamps accidentally fell off unnoticed from the vehicle carrying the same while in transit from the Finance Building, Manila to its office. Internal revenue officers, employees and others concerned are requested to promptly notify this Office in case the above-mentioned B.I.R. strip stamps are found, taking necessary steps in the meantime to prevent the improper and fraudulent disposition or use thereof.
