Cancellation of One Thousand Five Hundred (1,500) pcs. of unused Documentary Stamp

July 5, 2004 REVENUE MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 41-04 SUBJECT : Cancellation of One Thousand Five Hundred (1,500) pcs. of unused Documentary Stamp TO : All Internal Revenue Officials, Employees and Others Concerned Notice is hereby given of the cancellation of one thousand five hundred (1,500) pcs. of Documentary Stamps with the following serial numbers: DSJ200030004359901 to DSJ20030004361400 The abovementioned documentary stamps were inadvertently missed-out in the delivery to the Bureau of Internal Revenue by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP). The BSP consequently requested that said documentary stamps be cancelled instead and proceeded to credit the corresponding cost to the Bureaus account. All official transactions involving the use of said forms/serial numbers are therefore considered INVALID. Furthermore, Internal Revenue officials, employees and others concerned, are requested to take the necessary measures to prevent the improper or fraudulent disposition or use of the same. (SGD.)
