August 15, 1972 REVENUE MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 36-72 SUBJECT : Issuance of New Series of Documentary Stamps of the 2 Denomination TO : All Internal Revenue Officers, Employees, and Others Concerned Effective August 17, 1972, the Bureau of Internal Revenue shall issue a new series of documentary stamps of the 2 denomination. This new series shall take the place of those previously issued which is declared obsolete. The main feature of the new documentary stamp is the change of the English words printed on the stamps into Pilipino. The size of the stamps is one and one-half inches by one inch and the color thereof is orange. The old stamps of the aforementioned denomination still in the hands of the Collection Agents and/or Revenue Cash Clerks, as the case may be, which are declared obsolete, shall be inventoried and shall be destroyed in accordance with Section 63 of the National Accounting and Auditing Manual. Copies of the certificate of destruction shall be forwarded to the Internal Audit Department, the Accounting Division, and the Accountable Forms Division. aisa dc MISAEL P.
