August 28, 1964 REVENUE MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 35-64 SUBJECT : Issuance of Internal Revenue Stamps Surcharged P2.50 per M Denomination 20's at P0.05 for Affixture to Cigarette Packages Containing 30 Cigarettes Under the P2.50 per M class, 30's at P0.075 TO : All Internal Revenue Officers, Employees and Others Concerned The exigencies of the revenue service so requiring, and in view of the urgent need of cigarette strip stamps of the P2.50 per M class 30's at P0.075, notice is hereby given that as an emergency measure, cigarette strip stamps printed by Toppan Printing Company surcharged at P2.50 per M class 20's at P0.05 will be affixed to cigarette packages containing 30 cigarettes for each package falling under the P2.50 per M class 30's at P0.075, beginning August 28, 1964. The difference in value will be collected by Official Receipt at the time of the purchase of the stamps and all the stamps to be affixed to cigarette packages will contain the initials for Mr. Agerico Guiang, Assistant Chief, Tobacco & Miscellaneous Tax Division and Mr. Arsenio Santos, Assistant Chief, Specific Tax Enforcement Division.
