March 27, 1968 REVENUE MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 33-68 SUBJECT : Publishing Memorandum-Circular No. 5-68 of the Department of Finance dated March 13, 1968 TO : All Internal Revenue Officers and Others Concerned For the information and guidance of all internal revenue officers and others concerned there is quoted hereinbelow Memorandum-Circular No. 5-68 of the Department of Finance dated March 13, 1968: cdti "MEMORANDUM-CIRCULAR NO. 5-68 "TO : Heads of bureaus and offices under the Department of Finance "SUBJECT : Presidential directive against the practice of squatting on government property "Quoted hereunder in full, for your information and compliance, is a telegram of Secretary Leido dated March 11, 1968, bearing on the above subject-matter: 'THE PRESIDENT DESIRES THAT YOU FIND OUT WHO AMONG THE EMPLOYEES IN YOUR DEPARTMENT ARE SQUATTING ON GOVERNMENT PROPERTY AND REQUIRE THEM TO EXPLAIN WHY NO ADMINISTRATIVE ACTION SHOULD BE TAKEN AGAINST THEM FOR VIOLATION OF EXISTING LAWS AND RULES.' All heads of bureaus and offices under this Department are requested to take such appropriate action as may be necessary to implement most effectively the above directive, furnishing the Office of the President, thru this Department, with a report of compliance therewith.
