July 10, 2001 REVENUE MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 30-01 SUBJECT : Wearing of the Official BIR Uniform TO : All Internal Revenue Officials and Employees Concerned The wearing of the official BIR uniform is an expression of discipline and professionalism, and denotes respect for the identity of the Bureau as a public service agency. In this regard, and in light of the Civil Service Commission's Memorandum Circular (MC) No. 14, Series of 2001, all female revenue officials and employees are hereby enjoined to observe the following schedule relative to the wearing of their official uniforms: Monday Green Uniform (Blazer, Optional) Tuesday Gala (Lavander) Uniform Wednesday Yellow Uniform (Blazer, Optional) Thursday Green Uniform (Blazer, Optional) Friday WASH DAY There shall be no change in the uniform schedule for male revenue officials and employees. However, the provisions of the Civil Service Dress Code must be observed by all employees in using civilian attire on Fridays, and by casual and contractual employees who were not issued uniforms.
