August 30, 1971 REVENUE MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 28-71 SUBJECT : Loss of 200,000 Pieces of Cigarette Strip Stamps Under the P2.50/M Class, 30's, Valued at P0.075 Each (Serial Nos. 534150001-534300000; 563000001-563050000) TO : All Internal Revenue Officers, Employees and others concerned Notice is hereby given of the loss of 200,000 pieces of cigarette strip stamps under the P2.50/M class, 30's, valued at P0.075 each bearing the following serial numbers: Serial Numbers Quantity 534150001-534300000 150,000 pieces 563000001-563050000 50,000 pieces The above listed cigarette strip stamps were reported lost by the purchaser, the Consolidated Tobacco Industries of the Philippines, Inc., on August 27, 1971 thru an armed robbery which took place on said date resulting in the loss of the company's vehicle together with the strip stamps. Internal revenue officers and others concerned are requested to promptly notify this Office in case any of the above-mentioned revenue strip stamps is found, taking necessary steps in the meantime to prevent unlawful or fraudulent disposition or use thereof. cdt MISAEL P.
