Compliance with the Provisions of Proclamation No. 1490, s. 1975

September 9, 1975 REVENUE MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 27-75 TO : All Officials and Employees of this Bureau and Others Concerned For the information and guidance of all concerned, quoted hereunder is Memorandum Circular No. 860 of Hon. Roberto V. Reyes, Actg. Executive Secretary, Office of the President of the Philippines dated August 30, 1975 and attached hereto is Proclamation No. 1490 of His Excellency, the President of the Philippines dated August 26, 1975, which are both self-explanatory: "MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 860 "URGING ALL GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES TO COMPLY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF PROCLAMATION NO. 1490 DATED AUGUST 26, 1975 "Pursuant to the provisions of Proclamation No. 1490 dated August 26, 1975, declaring the 11th day of September, 1975, and every year thereafter as "Araw Ng Mga Barangay Sa Pilipinas" and in consonance with the provisions of Memorandum Circular No. 815 dated March 26, 1975, all government officials and employees including those in government-owned or controlled corporations, are hereby enjoined to report to their respective Barangays to properly observe the occasion in the following manner: "1. Rendering Civic Action work in their respective Barangays. "2. Holding "Pulong-Pulongs" or assemblies of people to hear their views on Barangay Affairs. "3. Inaugurating Barangay Projects and other community activities. "A report on the activities undertaken by all concerned shall be submitted to this Office. "Strict compliance herewith is enjoined.
