May 18, 1972 REVENUE MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 23-72 SUBJECT : Presidential Directive to all Officials of the Executive Department Occupying a National Office to Notify Local Executives of any Planned Visit to a Province or Town TO : All Revenue Officials and Employees Concerned For the information and guidance of all concerned, there is quoted hereunder Department Memorandum Circular No. 6-72 dated March 27, 1972. "March 27, 1972 "DEPARTMENT MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 6-72 "TO : All Heads of Bureaus and Offices under the Department of Finance "SUBJECT : Presidential directive to all officials of the executive department occupying a national office to notify local executives of any planned visit to a province or town "Quoted hereunder, for your information and guidance, is the memorandum dated March 16, 1972 of Presidential Assistant J.C. Tuvera relating to the above subject-matter: 'The President has been reliably informed that on various occasions, national officials visiting the provinces on official business have failed or have not been fit to advise the local executives of such visit. 'The President desires that, by way of rectifying this omission, officials of the executive department occupying a national office notify local executives of any planned visit to a province or town and synchronize their plans with the latter so that efforts on a national level may be augmented by local government concerned.' "Heads of bureaus and offices under this Department shall see to it that the above quoted Presidential directive is strictly complied with by the officials concerned under their respective jurisdiction. "(SGD.) PEDRO M. ALMANZOR Acting Secretary" Accordingly, all those officials concerned are hereby enjoined to follow strictly the provisions of the above-cited Department Memorandum Circular.
