April 25, 1967 REVENUE MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 22-67 SUBJECT : Discontinuance of Shipment of Forest Products Under Bond TO : All Regional Directors, District Revenue Officers, Collection Agents and Others Concerned In order to effectively enforce the collection of forest charges, it is hereby directed that all Regional Directors, District Revenue Officers, Collection Agents and Others Concerned shall see to it that before forest products are removed from the cutting area or point of origin, the corresponding forest charges due thereon are paid or collected. Shipments or transportation of logs under bond are hereby discontinued and all previous authorities heretofore issued allowing the payment of forest charges at point of destination under bond are deemed withdrawn. Grantees of authorities to transport logs under bond should accordingly be notified by the offices concerned and their respective bonds cancelled and surrendered upon verification and ascertainment that they have no liability for forest charges. aisadc This Revenue Memorandum Circular takes effect immediately.
