Delegation of Authority to the Assistant Commissioner, Collection Service to Act on Certain Documents

April 6, 2001 REVENUE MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 18-01 SUBJECT : Delegation of Authority to the Assistant Commissioner, Collection Service to Act on Certain Documents TO : All Internal Revenue Officers and Others Concerned In order to expedite actions on certain cases, the Assistant Commissioner, Collection Service is hereby authorized to approve and sign the following: 1. Transfer of Tax Credit Certificate; 2. Revalidation of Tax Credit Certificate; and 3. Conversion of Tax Credit Certificate to cash. For item No. 3, this authority is granted with the concurrence of the Assistant Commissioner, Financial and Administrative Service. The above-mentioned policy shall exist until such time that the Tax Credit and Refund System is fully operational and the corresponding Operations Manual and Revenue Memorandum Order on these activities are approved.
