March 18, 1974 REVENUE MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 16-74 SUBJECT : Loss of 50,000 Pieces of BIR Strip Stamps for Cigarettes, under the P3.00 per M Class (30's), Valued at P0.09 each, Serial Nos. 0384000001 to 0384200000, Inclusive TO : All Revenue Officers, Employees and others concerned Notice is hereby given of the loss of BIR strip stamps for cigarettes as indicated below: Class and Denomination Value Serial Numbers Quantity P3.00/M (30's) P0.09 each 0384000001 0384200000 50,000 pcs. Above strip stamps were lost on March 5, 1974, the date of purchase while inside a parked vehicle belonging to the taxpayer-purchaser. The loss was reported to this Office and duly verified to be true and correct by an internal revenue officer. Internal revenue officers and others concerned are requested to promptly notify this Office in case any of the above-mentioned strip stamps is found, taking necessary steps to prevent the unlawful use thereof by any party other than the authorized purchaser.
