June 13, 1997 REVENUE MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 15-97 SUBJECT : One Minute of Silent Prayer at Noontime TO : All Revenue Officials and Employees and Others Concerned For the information and guidance of all revenue officials and employees, quoted hereunder is Office Order from the Department of Finance dated May 16, 1997. "The House of Representatives in its Resolution No. 29 adopted on May 23, 1996, resolved to express its support to the exhortation of President Fidel V. Ramos to the people to habitually make a minute of silent prayer at 12:00 noon everyday so we can hopefully achieve peace and order, economic recovery and prosperity, spiritual renewal and the emergence of the Philippines as the Light of Asia. In this regard, all officials and employees of the Department and its attached agencies and offices are urged to pray at mid-day for the above intentions and/or to include a minute of prayer before the noon mass. The following are designated coordinators of the noontime prayer Atty. Corazon C. Miraflores-Reyes for the staff at the Executive Tower and CBAA Chairman Margarita Magistrado for those housed at the EDPC Building. (SGD.) ROBERTO F.
