March 25, 2002 REVENUE MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 10-02 TO : All Revenue Officials and Employees SUBJECT : Prescribing Guidelines in the Implementation of A.O. No. 32 dated March 18, 2002 Providing for Adjusted Official Working Hours for the Months of April and May 2002 For the information of all revenue officials and employees, the following are the prescribed guidelines in compliance with Administrative Order No. 32 dated March 18, 2002: 1. Due to the proximity of the April 15 deadline for the filing and payment of income taxes, the Bureau's implementation of the Order shall officially begin on Tuesday, 16 April 2002 . 2. Officials and employees shall follow either: 2.a Monday to Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (10 hours/day) 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (10 hours/day) 2.b Tuesday to Friday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (10 hours/day) 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (10 hours/day) 3. All Heads of Offices must report to work on Mondays. Therefore, their "free day" shall be every Friday, on which day all Assistant Heads of Offices must be at their posts. 4. Any official or employee, who would like to be exempted from the aforementioned prescribed schedules and would like to continue observing the regular 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday schedule, must submit a written justification to his Head of Office for such exemption. 5. The Heads of Offices shall ensure, however, that a balance is maintained in the division of staff between the two alternative workweeks. The attached format shall be used in the submission of Office's time schedules. 6. The Heads of Offices must submit the schedules of their respective offices to the Personnel Division, copy furnished the Regional Director concerned, for the Regional and District Offices; or the Assistant Commissioner concerned, for the National Office Divisions. No changes in these Schedules will be entertained. 7. Monitoring of the observance of the adjusted working hours shall be done through the Summary Report of Attendance. Please be guided accordingly.
