July 20, 2000 REVENUE MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 10-00 SUBJECT : Specimen Signature of the Deputy Commissioner for Legal & Inspection Group TO : All Internal Revenue Officers, Employees and Others Concerned All revenue officials and employees are informed that in view of the assumption of the duties of the Deputy Commissioner for Legal and Inspection Group (LIG) effective June 26, 2000, all rulings, decisions, actions, papers and correspondence for the signature of the Deputy Commissioner, LIG, should be prepared and must bear the signature of the Deputy Commissioner as follows: In addition to the criminal and/or administrative liability of the person responsible therefor, any ruling, decision, action, paper or correspondence to which Deputy Commissioner Lilian B. Hefti is the signatory, but which does not conform with the above signature shall be considered to have originated from spurious or unauthorized source and shall be considered null and void.
