Celebration of the 14th Anniversary of the Development Policy Research Month (DPRM)

September 16, 2016 REVENUE MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 099-16 TO : All Internal Revenue Officials, Employees and Others Concerned SUBJECT : Celebration of the 14th Anniversary of the Development Policy Research Month (DPRM) Presidential Decree No. 247 issued on September 2, 2002, has declared the month of September of every year as the Development Policy Research Month. The theme for this year's celebration is "Investing in Risk Reduction for a Resilient Philippines or Angkop na Kahandaan: Matatag na Ekonomiya at Lipunan." The theme highlights the need for in-depth reflections and analyses of resilience building, risk reduction, structural transformation, and the role of appropriate policy interventions in building the country' resilience to various economic, environmental, political and social risk and stress. All agencies of the government and their respective regions/field offices are enjoined to participate and support the celebration through organizing activities or events that may have relevance in the presentation and discussion of the theme or may relate to policy research focusing on the need to build a strong regulatory management system. All Regional and District Offices are requested to provide their own DPRM streamer to be displayed at their building facade throughout the month of September and may coordinate with the participating agencies in their respective areas for their specific activity that they may want to get involved in. Attached is the letter of Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) as well as DPRM streamer format for your information and guidance.
