New BIR Mission and Vision Statements, and Core Values

December 29, 2015 REVENUE MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 079-15 SUBJECT : New BIR Mission and Vision Statements, and Core Values TO : All Internal Revenue Officials and Employees In the light of the achievements of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) in its tax administration reform initiatives concerning business processes and systems, as well as other key undertakings, the existing BIR Mission and Vision Statements, and Core Values were revisited. EcTCAD This Circular is being issued to inform all internal revenue officials and employees of the new BIR Mission and Vision Statements, and Core Values, which shall henceforth be used as our guiding principles in the performance of our mandate. 1. BIR Vision Statement "The Bureau of Internal Revenue is an institution of service excellence and integrity." 2. BIR Mission Statement "We collect taxes through just enforcement of tax laws for nation building and the upliftment of the lives of Filipinos." 3. BIR Core Values God-fearing Accountability Innovativeness Integrity Competency Transparency Patriotism All internal revenue officials and employees are hereby enjoined to give this Circular as wide a publicity as possible.
