July 10, 2019 REVENUE MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 072-19 SUBJECT : Loss of Several Revenue Official Receipts BIR Form No. 2524 TO : All Internal Revenue Officials, Employees and Others Concerned Notice is hereby given of the loss of the accountable forms hereunder listed together with other pertinent information, to wit: Accountable Form Serial Number Quantity BIR Form No. 2524 (Revenue Official Receipt) ROR201301822087-ROR201301822100 14 sets (unused) BIR Form No. 2524 (Revenue Official Receipt) ROR201301818989-ROR201301819000 12 sets (unused) BIR Form No. 2524 (Revenue Official Receipt) ROR201301822628-ROR201301822650 23 sets (unused) The abovementioned forms were lost during Marawi siege in Marawi City, as reported by Mr. Jamel A. Boriongan, Administrative Assistant III, Revenue District Office No. 102, Revenue Region No. 16, Cagayan de Oro City and have consequently been cancelled. All official transactions involving the use of said forms are therefore considered as INVALID. Internal Revenue officials, employees and others concerned are requested to promptly notify this Office in the event that the aforesaid forms are found and to take the necessary measures to prevent the improper or fraudulent disposition or use of the same.
