July 7, 2016 REVENUE MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 072-16 SUBJECT : Clarification on RMC No. 71-2016 Concerning Transfers Involving Presidential Appointees TO : All Internal Revenue Officers and Others Concerned In line with the existing Memorandum of the Secretary of Finance dated 21 October 2010, requiring clearance from the Secretary of Finance on transfers involving Presidential Appointees, Revenue Travel Assignment Orders (RTAOs) issued and published within June 1-30, 2016 involving Presidential Appointees are excluded from the general revocation provided under RMC No. 76-2016 n dated July 4, 2016, having been approved by the Secretary of Finance.
