January 13, 1999 REVENUE MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 07-99 SUBJECT : Property Rentals/Leases TO : All Revenue Officials and Others Concerned For the information and guidance of all revenue officials and employees, and in compliance with the Memorandum of Director Lourdes Z. Santiago of the Central Administration Office, Department of Finance, quoted hereunder is the Memorandum from the President dated December 10, 1998: "In line with the implementation of the government-wide austerity measures, submit a comprehensive list, using the attached form, of all properties (i.e. lands, buildings, office spaces, etc.) rented or leased by your office. Further, formulate a plan on how your office can reduce rental expenses or propose alternatives other than renting/leasing such properties with the end in view of cutting unnecessary or excessive costs to your operations. Submit your reports and action plan to my Office, duly notarized, through the Presidential Management Staff not later than 29 December 1998. For strict compliance. (Sgd.)
