December 29, 1975 REVENUE MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 01-76 SUBJECT : Extension of Time to File Application for Renewal of Permits to Engage in Business as Wholesale Leaf Tobacco Dealer TO : All Internal Revenue Officers and others concerned In order to give ample time to wholesale leaf tobacco dealers who have failed to file their applications for renewal of permit within the prescribed period, either thru lack of notice, lack of forms or for other reasonable causes, the deadline for the filing of such applications is hereby extended up to January 31, 1976. For this purpose, all internal revenue officers concerned are hereby instructed to give this circular the widest publicity possible to spare the leaf tobacco dealers from inconveniences and to maintain the smooth flow of their business operations.
