October 17, 1991 REVENUE ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 07-91 SUBJECT : Abolition of Revenue Region CAR (Cordillera Administrative Region) TO : All Internal Revenue Officers and Others Concerned I. OBJECTIVES : 1. Institute immediate, remedial action to abolish Revenue Region CAR since it is no longer financially sound and practical for the Bureau to maintain said region inasmuch as only the Province of Ifugao voted for autonomy, among the six (6) provinces comprising the Cordillera Administrative Region. aisa dc 2. Facilitate an orderly restoration to their former regional offices of the five revenue districts affected by the abolition of RR CAR. 3. Allow for the proper re-assignment of the personnel of the dissolved region. II. POLICIES : To achieve these objectives, the following are hereby promulgated: A. The Revenue Region CAR created under RAO No. 23-88 dated November 14, 1988 is hereby abolished; B. Revenue District Nos. 3 Bangued, Abra, 5 Baguio City and 6 Bontoc, Mt. Province shall be reverted to Revenue Region No. 1, Baguio City. Likewise, Revenue District Nos. 10 Tabuk, Kalinga Apayao and 12 Lagawe, Ifugao shall be reverted to Revenue Region No. 2, Tuguegarao, Cagayan. casia III. OTHER GUIDELINES : A. On Personnel 1. All top ranking officers of Revenue Region - CAR from the Regional Director to the Asst. Chief of Branches shall be re-assigned to offices where their services are needed. 2. Those holding positions lower than Assistant Branch Chief shall be transferred to other offices of the Bureau. 3. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the incumbents may be considered for economic reasons, to remain in Revenue Region No. 1 subject to the approval of the Commissioner. aisa dc B. Furniture and Equipment All equipment and furniture allocated to Revenue Region CAR shall be re-allocated to different offices of Revenue Region Nos. 1 and 2 based on their needs as determined by the Administrative Service. IV. REPEALING CLAUSE : This Order supersedes RAO No. 23-88 dated November 14, 1988 and other revenue issuances or portions thereof inconsistent herewith. V.
