Fixing of Salaries of CTA Officers and Employees

August 4, 1969 REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6063 AN ACT FIXING THE SALARIES OF OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE COURT OF TAX APPEALS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES SECTION 1. Any provision of existing law to the contrary notwithstanding, the annual salaries of the Judges and employees of the Court of Tax Appeals occupying positions mentioned in this Section, with their corresponding item numbers before their positions as indicated in Republic Act Numbered Fifty-one hundred seventy, the General Appropriations Act for the fiscal year 1967-68, shall be fixed as follows: aisa dc Office of the Judges One Presiding Judge P24,000.00 Two Associate Judges at P23,000.00 46,000.00 Three private secretary-stenographers at P7,200.00 each 21,600.00 Office of the Clerk of Court One Clerk of Court (administrative officer, reporter and sheriff ) 14,000.00 Budget and Personnel Section One budget officer and administrative assistant 10,200.00 One budget assistant 8,400.00 One clerk 4,200.00 One auditing examiner 3,960.00 Court of Service Section One deputy clerk of court 9,600.00 One bilingual stenographer 9,000.00 One bilingual stenographer 8,400.00 One court stenographer 8,400.00 One court stenographer 7,800.00 One court stenographer 7,200.00 One deputy sheriff 4,500.00 One bailiff 3,300.00 Cash and Property Section One cashier-disbursing and property officer 8,400.00 One security guard 4,200.00 Records, Docket and General Service Section One records and docket officer 9,000.00 One bilingual stenographer 8,400.00 One chief janitor, with free quarters if required to live in the court's premises 3,600.00 One janitor-messenger 3,120.00 Legal and Technical Staff One chief of legal and technical staff 14,000.00 One assistant chief of legal and technical staff 13,200.00 One clerk-stenographer 4,200.00 Legal and Library Section One attorney (researcher) P8,400.00 One attorney (researcher) 7,200.00 One attorney (researcher) 6,000.00 One attorney (researcher and Library custodian) 6,000.00 One attorney (researcher) 5,400.00 Technical Assistance Section One senior attorney 10,200.00 One senior attorney 10,200.00 One certified public accountant 10,200.00 SECTION 2. Upon the effectivity of this Act, the respective judge and employee actually occupying any of the provisions herein provided shall be entitled to the salary provided for said position without need of new appointment. SECTION 3. In addition to such sums as may be provided in the General Appropriations Act for the fiscal year 1968-1969, there is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the national treasury not otherwise appropriated, such sums as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act: Provided , That if savings are realized by the Court of Tax Appeals from its annual appropriations for the said fiscal year 1968-1969 and subsequent fiscal years, the adjustment of salaries provided for by this Act shall be implemented out of these savings. Thereafter, the same shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
