(On Official Business) QUIRINO TAX ORDINANCE NO. 002-02 ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER IV, SECTIONS 5B.02 (a), 5G.02 (b), 5J.02 (a), AND 5O.02 (a), OF PROVINCIAL TAX ORDINANCE NO. 01, SERIES OF 2002, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE REVENUE CODE OF THE PROVINCE OF QUIRINO Sponsor: Hon. Homer B. Bueno Co-Sponsor: Hon. Perla A. Olay WHEREAS, Provincial Tax Ordinance No. 01, series of 2002, otherwise known as Revenue Code of the Province of Quirino, was enacted on July 16, 2002, by this august body, with the objective of increasing the income of the province in order to implement the many priority projects geared toward better service delivery; WHEREAS, Sections 5B.02 (a), 5G.02 (b), 5J.02 (a) and 5O.02 (a), all of Chapter IV of Provincial Tax Ordinance No. 01, series of 2002, state that collections of fees and charges shall be done by designated in-charge of the respective offices or services; WHEREAS, the body deemed it more proper that collection of fees and charges shall be done by the Office of the Provincial Treasurer to facilitate accounting and auditing processes. NOW THEREFORE, be it enacted by Sangguniang Panlalawigan, this province, duly assembled that: EaCSTc SECTION 1. Sections 5B.02 (a), 5G.02 (b), 5J.02 (a) and 5O.02 (a), all of Chapter IV of Provincial Tax Ordinance No. 01, series of 2002, is hereby amended and shall read as follows: "Section 5B.02. Administrative Provisions. (a) The Provincial Treasurer or his/her duly authorized representative shall collect the above charges for the Capitol Plaza Hotel, Conference Hall, Restaurant and other related facilities. Section 5G.02. Administrative Provisions. (b) The Provincial Treasurer or his/her duly authorized representative shall collect the above charges for the Aglipay Caves and Campsite. Section 5J.02. Administrative Provisions. (a) The Provincial Treasurer or his/her duly authorized representative shall collect the above charges for the RP-German Training Center and General Services Facilities. Section 5O.02. Administrative Provisions. (a) The Provincial Treasurer or his/her duly authorized representative shall collect the above charges for the Tourism Sites of the province, particularly Governor's Rapids and Governor's Rapids Caves." SECTION 2. This ordinance repeals all previous resolutions and ordinances inconsistent hereof. CIaDTE SECTION 3.
