An Ordinance Amending Section 128.04 of Ordinance No. 794, Otherwise Known as "The Revised Revenue Code of Puerto Princesa of 2016"

PUERTO PRINCESA CITY ORDINANCE NO. 1040 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 128.04 OF ORDINANCE NO. 794, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS "THE REVISED REVENUE CODE OF PUERTO PRINCESA OF 2016" Sponsored by: Committee on Games and Amusements BE IT ORDAINED , by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Puerto Princesa in session assembled, that: HTcADC SECTION 1. Section 12B.04 of Ordinance No. 794, is hereby amended to read, as follows: " Section 12B.04. Permit to Hold Cockfighting . The City Mayor shall only issue permit and special permit to hold Cockfights to the barangay during Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays in a franchised/licensed cockpit, except as follows: 1. x x x 2. x x x 3. In the event of continuous election registration days, Special Permits shall only be issued when cockfighting will be held on a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday, provided it is not declared a registration day pursuant to resolutions and/or issuances issued by the Commission on Elections. Moreover, the conduct of cockfighting shall only be held within a franchised/licensed cockpit. Provided further, that such franchised/licensed cockpit shall allocate at least one Sunday of every month for Barangay Cockfighting." SECTION 2. Repealing Clause . The provisions of all local ordinances, resolutions, memoranda, circulars, and other issuances which are inconsistent with this Ordinance are hereby repealed or modified accordingly. SECTION 3. Separability Clause . If, for any reason or reasons, any part or provision of this Ordinance shall be held as unconstitutional or invalid, other parts or provisions hereof not affected thereby shall continue to be in full force and effect. SECTION 4. Effectivity . This Ordinance shall take fifteen (15) days following its full publication in a newspaper of local circulation in Puerto Princesa City. SO ORDAINED .
