Creation of New Subsectors and Reclassification of Companies

CN-0026-12 SUBJECT : Creation of New Subsectors and Reclassification of Companies Please be informed that the following subsectors shall be created as part of the Exchange's enhancements to the sector classification system of listed companies: Sector New Subsector Description Industrial Electrical Components & Companies that produce electric cables and Equipment wires, and other electrical components or equipment Other Industrials Engaged in various industrial activities outside of the defined subsectors of the Industrial sector Services Casinos & Gaming Owners and operators of casinos and gaming facilities Includes companies providing lottery and betting services Retail Owners and operators of consumer retail stores, distributors and wholesalers Other Services Engaged in various services outside of the defined subsectors of the Services sector Note: Other Industrials and Other Services shall be created in lieu of the Diversified Industrials and Diversified Services subsectors, respectively. In line with the newly created subsectors, attached is a list of companies which sector and/or subsector classification shall be changed. Under the PSE Sector Classification Guide, a company shall be classified to the sector and subsector that closely describes the business activity which generates at least 60% or more of the company's revenue.
