April 20, 2011 PSE MEMORANDUM NO. 0171-11 SUBJECT : Recomposition of PSE Indices and Adjustment of Free Float Level The Philippine Stock Exchange shall revise the composition of the PSEi and the sector indices on 09 May 2011 following the conduct of its regular review of the indices. The review period covered trading activity for the period January to December 2010. All changes in the composition of the indices were based on the previously approved criteria used for selecting the members of the indices. DASEac To qualify for the PSEi, companies are required to meet the following during the review period: 1. Free float level of at least 10% 2. Liquidity or average daily trading value of at least P5 million 3. Volume turnover ratio of at least 10% 4. Tradability of at least 95% of the total trading days 5. Free float market capitalization To be included in the sector indices, companies must meet the following during the review period: 1. Liquidity or average daily trading value of at least P1 million 2. Tradability of at least 75% of the total trading days Please be advised that we shall also update the free float level of all listed companies on 09 May 2011. The adjustments are based on the companies' latest public ownership reports as of 31 December 2010 submitted to the PSE. Attached is a list of the companies that will compose the PSEi and sector indices with their corresponding adjusted free float level. The free float level of companies that are not members of the indices shall be posted on the corporate pages of the respective companies in the PSE website. HCacTI For your guidance. Thank you.
