December 8, 1998 PSE MEMO FOR BROKERS NO. 574-98 SUBJECT : Re-Scheduled Y2K Street-Wide Test Due to the holding of the 5th Special Membership Meeting on 11 December 1998 at about the same time and place, the original schedule for the Y2K Street-Wide Test for 11 and 12 December 1998 is postponed. Testing will be re-scheduled sometime early next year. In the meantime, the Exchange acknowledges with great appreciation the cooperation of all participating member-brokers that led to the successful conduct of the initial Y2K test where we tested the roll-over capability of our computer system from 1999 to the first trading day in the Year 2000. As to the result of the test on the brokers' system, please get in touch with our computer staff for any feedback and ways on how we can be of assistance in doing any remediation work on your system.
