December 16, 1999 PSE MEMO FOR BROKERS NO. 404-99 SUBJECT : Y2K Roll-Over Activities and Schedule As confirmed by the Y2K Committee, please be informed of the following Year 2000 rollover activities and schedules: December 29, 1999 Last trading day of year 1999. 2:00 p.m. ATG performs system backup, prints-hardcopies of databases and performs total systems shutdown December 31,1999 6:00 p.m. Selected ATG staff to report on-site. All other essential ATG staff on standby. ATG Help Desk can be contacted by brokers to report problems. January 1, 2000 12 MN onwards ATG performs machine startup and conducts comprehensive wellness check Brokers can report their wellness status or problems to ATG Help Desk 1:00 - 3:00 P.M. Industry wide simulated trading. System available for testing with brokers and other market participants January 2, 2000 8:00 a.m. ATG performs system startup and check. 9:00 a.m. System available for testing with brokers and other market participants January 3, 2000 9:00 a.m. First trading day of year 2000. The Exchange highly encourages all member brokers to participate in the January 1 and/or 2 mock trading.
