June 9, 1998 PSE MEMO FOR BROKERS NO. 254-98 SUBJECT : Philippine Centennial Celebration In the spirit of the Philippine Centennial, the Philippine Stock Exchange will have simple flag raising ceremonies to be held simultaneously at the two trading floors on Thursday, 11 June 1998, the eve of our Independence Day, at 9:25 a.m. just in time for the opening of the market. Apropos to the times, everyone is encouraged to come in Filipino attire as in long-sleeved barong for men and Filipiniana dress for women.
