May 13, 1999 PSE MEMO FOR BROKERS NO. 177-99 SUBJECT : Amendment to the Rules and Regulations Governing Membership in the Philippine Stock Exchange Please be informed that upon recommendation of the Membership Committee, the Board of Governors, in its regular meeting held on May 12, 1999, approved the amendment of the Membership Rules and Regulations deleting Section 9 of Article 1, which states: "Section 9. Business Name Requirements The business name of the applicant shall include the word "stockbrokerage" or "securities"." This amendment to the rule shall take effect immediately. (SGD.) RAFAEL L.
