March 5, 1999 PSE MEMO FOR BROKERS NO. 110-99 SUBJECT : Trader ID Assignment Based on the responses to the Trader ID survey form as per our Memo No. 092-99, it was apparent that some brokers and traders prefer to have access to both of their terminals instead of limiting one trader to one terminal only. In this regard, we will be implementing the new terminal security scheme where each trader ID can have access only to the terminals assigned to their respective brokerage. A trader ID assigned to another brokerage firm cannot have access to the system via another broker's terminal. Traders may still use their old trader IDs. Additional trader IDs requested by other brokers will be distributed starting Monday, 8 March 1999. These traders Ids will now uniquely be assigned to each trader and will have their own personal password. For inquiries or clarifications, please contact the ATG Help Desk at the trading floor.
