February 26, 1999 PSE MEMO FOR BROKERS NO. 092-99 SUBJECT : Assignment of Trader IDs Please be informed that the Automated Trading Group will be introducing several changes to the Maktrade System to enhance the security of access to our trading system. One of these changes will allow the assignment of unique trader IDs to authorized traders of each Broker and the restriction of traders to their pre-assigned terminals. cdll In this connection, please provide us with the names of the traders/staff who will be authorized to use the broker's terminals and given access to the trading system. Kindly indicate their respective terminal assignments and order limits. The maximum number of trader ID's that is allowed per broker is five (5) times the number of connected Maktrade terminals of the broker. Please note that with these changes, a trader will only be assigned to one terminal, and using his/her own trader ID and password can only log on to that terminal. If needed, an authorized Maktrade user may log on to another PC by requesting the ATG Help Desk. This will facilitate the control of the use of the terminal and the identification of specific users at any given time. Kindly fill up the attached form and return it to the Automated Trading Group or fax to 634-5031 on or before Wednesday, 03 March 1999. Changes on trader ID assignments will be implemented effective Monday, 08 March 1999. For inquiries or clarifications, please contact the ATG Help Desk staff at the trading floor.
